To protect and promote women’s Right to Life by fostering Gender and Social Equality. Therefore, enhancing women’s status in all aspects of life, thus enacting radical changes in the perception of women and their role in various and diverse fields, in particular the authority of decision-making which is one of the conditions required for an effective democracy. The action research would also promote behavioral changes towards women for gender equality perspective. Society would be encouraged to understand their accountability and responsibility in ensuring that women would lead a life with dignity. Gender and social equality is a pathway for goals of sustainable development.

The project also talks about Domestic Violence, Discrimination, Atrocities and other important issues experienced by women. The goal of SAMTA Project is to achieve equality. We have planned to include 200 Cadres (100 from each District) from West Champaran – Bihar and Kushinagar – Uttar Pradesh and 40 Cadres from Nagpur and Bhandara Districts (20 from each District) and make them understand and mobilize about the Project via capacity building. This project helps to increase acceptance and women leadership. It would also help in good governance and acceptance of democracy among people and also to boost their livelihoods as well.

MARG has started to provide skill training to marginalized people in District – Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh and West Champaran, Bihar under this Project Phase II.
